Kiyosu Castle

Kiyosu Castle was the starting point of the rule of the local hero, Nobunaga Oda, and was an important base for warlords seeking to end the Warring States period and pacify the country. In 1989, the castle was reconstructed in its present location as “Kiyosu Castle. Kiyosu Castle Tenshukaku,” with its roof topped by a golden orca, is the symbol of Kiyosu City, along with the ‘Performing Arts Culture Hall,’ with its ‘Kuroki Shoin’ and ‘Performing Arts Room’ inside the palace, and the red ‘Ote Bridge’ over the Gojo River.

Kiyosu San-Omiya Hiyoshi Shrine

It is associated with the three heroes of Owari (Nobunaga Oda - Hideyoshi Toyotomi - Ieyasu Tokugawa) and is enshrined as the general guardian deity of Kiyosu Castle.
